"Thank you for all your kindness and support and expert teaching. Without all of that, none of this would have been possible and even at the start of the course I could not really imagine myself actually teaching yoga.
It’s amazing!"

"The teacher training course taught by Jane was amazing. My own practice developed as the course evolved and I absolutely love teaching. Teachers CPD Further Training Weekend
The date of the next CPD weekend has yet to be arranged. Details are for the last one held in April 2024, as an example.
Brian Cooper will teach an Adjustment Plus weekend for qualified and trainee yoga teachers in October 2025. Details to follow!

Open to all teachers who have completed a certified 200 hour course, regardless of whether or not they are currently teaching. This is a weekend to connect with other yoga teachers, deepen skills, work hands on with each other, and gain greater confidence in being able to give your students the best experience in your classes.

During this weekend we will work with:

* Adjustments - Looking at postures from the latter part of Ashtanga primary series, inversions, some Intermediate series postures and backbends. Verbal and hands-on adjustments, technique and alignment. Adapting postures to suit different bodies. Working with injuries.

* Vinyasa krama - Intelligent sequencing with 1. a peak posture, 2. a theme. Most yoga classes are a form of vinyasa krama. In this session we will look at gaining confidence in creating intelligent and constructive sequences that work to access a specific posture, or a more general theme.

* Teaching clinic and discussion. A chance to speak about any concerns or teaching points, smooth running of classes, etc. with the group.

* Teaching pranayama - How to introduce people to pranayama within a yoga class, and to work with a regular practice to unlock the manifold proven benefits.

The content will be spread over both days. Each day will begin with a led practice.

Your trainer will be Jane Piddington - senior yoga teacher and trainer pro, certified by Yoga Alliance Professionals. Jane has been teaching yoga since 2000 and teacher training since 2015.

This further training course will involve practice, observation, group work and teaching, and some optional coursework.
Cost £200.
