Classes



Online classes now streaming on Zoom until such time as the situation with social distancing changes. 
As much as I love working face to face with people and bodies this is a great way to keep you connected and practicing during these times when yoga can really help body and mind. 

The following online classes will be available to all until further notice:
Mondays - Ashtanga beginners 6 to 7pm
                    Ashtanga improvers 7.30 to 9pm.
                    
Tuesdays - General Ashtanga vinyasa class 11.30am to 1pm
 
Wednesdays - Ashtanga Primary Series Talk-through 6 to 7.30pm (if you are less experienced join in and cool down when you have had enough).

Thursdays - Pranayama, Meditation and Relaxation 4 to 5pm
 
Fridays -  Ashtanga Vinyasa class (for those with some experience) 9 to 10.30am
                General Ashtanga vinyasa class  11.30am to 1pm
 
I am also available for online one-to-one sessions at £50 an hour or £70 for 90 minutes.
 
All are welcome. If you are a new student to me I will need you to fill in simple health questionnaire.
 
Prices: Monday beginners £9 a session or £30 for a four class pass. 
             All other classes £10 a session or £50 for a six class pass.
             (You can drop-in to the Monday beginners with this pass but it will be treated as one class, to prevent confusion).
If you are struggling due to loss of income please pay by donation (suggested minimum £5 a session, less if you really can't afford this).

Mysore-style self-practice sessions. 

Avalon Room, Glastonbury Experience Courtyard, Glastonbury High St.

Wednesdays Session 6 to 8pm - you are free to leave when your practice is over.

£13 drop in or £11 a session if committing to a few.
Class limited to 10 people so that everyone gets plenty of attention.

Fridays Session 7 to 8.30am
£12 drop-in or £11 a session if you are committing to a few classes.
All sessions are in the Avalon Room unless stated (subject to change).
Early practice will enliven you and make you fully ready to start the day!
This class is the traditional way to teach and learn Ashtanga yoga.

It is an opportunity to learn, or to deepen, your own regular practice of the Ashtanga sequence in a supportive environment with individual tuition and adjustment.
If you would like to gain confidence in building a self-practice this is the best way to achieve it.

Ashtanga vinyasa guided classes

uided classes in Ashtanga Primary Series. St.Mary's Hall, Magdalene Street, Glastonbury.
6.15-7.15pm beginners £9 drop-in or £32 for 4 sessions.
7.20-9pm intermediate £11 Drop-in
£54 for 6 sessions to be used up within the term.
You are welcome to begin at any point in the term.

Spring term 2020: January 6th to March 30th - no class February 17th.

Intermediate class - 
4 weekly cycle - 2 weeks general vinyasa flow, week 3 Primary Series talk-through, week 4 Intermediate Series talk-through.
 Concessions by arrangement on all classes

Tuesdays Mixed ability 11.40am to 1.10pm
General Ashtanga vinyasa class
The sessions are woven around the Ashtanga sequences with a different focus each week.

Spring term: January 7th to March 31st, no class on February 18th. That's a 12 week term.

The cost will be £108 for the term, which can be paid in 2 instalments of £54. The first to secure your place and the second on or before Feb 11th. 


Maximum class size 20. 
Commitment desirable but you are welcome to come and try it out as a drop-in for £10.

Private sessions

Jane is also available for one to one tuition at a cost of £55 an hour/£75 for 90 mins.
Contact for details. This is the most effective way to learn or deepen your yoga practice.

Pranayama 6 Week Course
Miracles Room, Glastonbury Courtyard, High St. BA6

Having studied pranayama for 30 years, and received intense tuition from Jai Prakash and Gregor Maehle, Jane will be running a six week course this Autumn.
Open to those who have an established asana practice and would like to develop a deeper and more regular pranayama practice.
Asana is just one of the limbs of yoga and needs to be complemented by pranayama and meditation to enjoy the full picture. The sessions will be progressive and there are just 10 spaces available.
