About Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga

Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga is a flowing form in which each posture unfolds gracefully into the next, guided by breath. It can be divided into 8 branches:
Asana (yoga postures) Pranayama (breath control) Niyama and Yama (moral observations and codes of conduct) Dharana (concentration) Dhyana (meditation) and Samadhi (absorption).
Mastery and perfection of each branch is progressively achieved through practice. Jane's teaching is one of inclusivity. Believing Ashtanga, with many ways of modifying the form, is accessible to anybody who wishes to practice it. She has students from 7 years to 70's from all walks of life and fitness levels.
